Assistant Controller

The assistant controller helps maintain accurate financial reporting, accounting controls, job costing, and contract records. Coordination with project management, operations, and accounting teams supports financial integrity, compliance, and timely project decisions.

What you'll do

• Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• maintain general ledger accounts
• prepare and review reconciliations, journal entries, accruals, and adjustments
• support month- and year-end close, budgeting, forecasting, and cash-flow management
• maintain construction job costing and project records
• review change orders, commitments, purchase orders, and subcontractor costs
• oversee accounts payable and receivable processes
• monitor billings and collections
• support payroll accounting, audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance
• maintain construction contract records and documentation
• coordinate contract and billing requirements with project teams.
