What you'll do

• Assist resident providers chairside using four-handed dentistry
• update patient information in the electronic health record
• set up and clean operatories
• maintain and sterilize instruments and equipment
• follow infection-control and OSHA procedures
• acquire or assist with radiographs and imaging while following x-ray safety standards
• assist with patient transport and post-anesthesia monitoring
• maintain supplies and inventory
• provide clinic administrative support. Requires high school diploma and either formal ADA-accredited dental assisting training plus one year of experience, or three continuous years of dental assisting experience
• radiation safety certification is required for positions responsible for dental x-rays.
