Day Shift Caregiver

The Day Shift Caregiver role is in person in Utica, MI, with work performed in clients’ homes and hours assigned by Griswold Home Care. Compensation is not specified; overtime is paid at time-and-a-half for hours over 40 per week. Griswold Home Care provides services to clients in their homes. The caregiver follows each client’s service plan and supports daily living, personal care, companionship, and household needs, while reporting changes in client condition and documenting required information.

What you'll do

• Carry out the client’s service plan
• assist with activities of daily living and personal care
• provide medication reminders for self-administered medications
• offer companionship and safety supervision as requested
• assist with light housekeeping, meal preparation, shopping, errands, and appointment transportation
• report changes in client condition
• record vital signs and complete reports accurately.

Why this role
