The Aircraft Mechanic II, Structures (F-15E) role is onsite at Seymour Johnson Air Force Base in Goldsboro, NC, and Mountain Home Air Force Base in Mountain Home, ID; travel is required as needed. Compensation is not specified. The position is contingent upon contract award and supports F-15E structural maintenance and modification operations. The mechanic performs moderate to complex structural maintenance, repairs, inspections, and modifications to keep aircraft production and delivery schedules on track. Work includes troubleshooting discrepancies, interpreting technical data, fabricating and installing components, completing inspections and documentation, and coordinating technical issues with site leadership.

What you'll do

• Perform F-15E structural maintenance and modifications
• inspect aircraft structures and components
• troubleshoot structural discrepancies
• remove, repair, fabricate, and install structural components
• interpret technical orders, blueprints, drawings, and engineering data
• perform drilling, cutting, forming, fitting, and fastening
• complete in-process and final inspections and maintenance documentation
• support tool control and foreign object debris prevention
• coordinate technical issues with the Site Supervisor or Lead Mechanic.
