Building Maintenance Technician

The Building Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Evansville, IN; The schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 a.m.–3:30 p.m. The position supports the upkeep of Black Equipment’s facility and surrounding grounds. The technician helps keep the building safe, clean, functional, and well-maintained through inspections, repairs, preventive maintenance, and groundskeeping. Timely responses to maintenance requests and support for facility operations contribute to a dependable work environment.

What you'll do

• Perform general building repairs and preventive maintenance
• inspect the facility and identify maintenance needs
• repair minor electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and mechanical issues
• maintain building systems, equipment, fixtures, and common areas
• assist with painting and facility improvements
• perform seasonal groundskeeping and cleanup
• maintain organized work areas
• follow safety procedures
• respond to maintenance requests
• load and unload semi-trailers.
