The Senior Risk Management Framework Specialist / Information Systems Security Officer is an onsite position at Rock Island Arsenal in Rock Island, IL. The stated salary range is $115,000–$130,000 per year. The role supports the U.S. Army Materiel Command and its information systems. The specialist guides systems through the Department of Defense Risk Management Framework lifecycle and helps achieve and maintain Authority to Operate status. By managing security documentation, assessments, vulnerabilities, and continuous monitoring, the role helps system owners and technical teams meet cybersecurity requirements and understand system risk.

What you'll do

• Lead the DoD RMF lifecycle
• guide system owners and technical teams on cybersecurity and ATO requirements
• maintain SSPs, SARs, POA&Ms, and other RMF artifacts
• manage records and authorization data in eMASS
• coordinate ATO packages and assessments
• conduct continuous monitoring
• use ACAS/Nessus and SCAP for vulnerability assessments
• track findings through remediation
• advise stakeholders on risks and mitigation.
