Senior Software Engineer

The role develops and operates scalable cloud services and Kubernetes-based software, helping customers manage control planes reliably across cloud and on-premises environments. It contributes to product development, production operations, customer issue resolution, and the Crossplane open-source project, and includes participation in an on-call rotation.

What you'll do

• Build and operate Upbound Spaces in production
• develop customer-requested features
• troubleshoot multi-tenant SaaS and customer environments
• write and maintain Go code interfacing with the Kubernetes API
• deploy and troubleshoot Kubernetes services using metrics, logs, and traces
• build operational debugging and incident-response tools
• support the software release cycle and self-hosted deployments
• write documentation and runbooks
• participate in the on-call rotation and resolve incidents.
