The Commercial HVAC/R Service Apprentice role is onsite in Ashland, VA, serving the Greater Richmond Region, with compensation of $18–$22 per hour. Working under a Commercial HVAC/R Technician, the apprentice assists with service, maintenance, and repairs on commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment. The role provides an entry point to learn the trade and progress toward becoming a Commercial HVAC/R Service Technician.

What you'll do

• Work with a Commercial HVAC/R Technician
• assist with service calls and troubleshooting, repairs, preventive maintenance, system replacements, and upgrades under direct supervision
• complete paperwork using a company laptop or tablet
• communicate with customers and the dispatcher
• maintain tools, equipment, and vehicle inventory
• drive the company vehicle safely and follow safety requirements.
