The Toroid Worker role is onsite in Helendale, CA. Pay is $17–$18 per hour. MK Magnetics manufactures custom and standard tape-wound soft magnetic cores for transformers and inductors at its California facility. The worker finishes toroid cores to customer specifications through coating, assembly, inspection, and related production steps. The role supports manufacturing quality by checking dimensions and workmanship and ensuring parts meet specifications before moving to the next department.

What you'll do

• Size toroids to process-sheet specifications
• measure dimensions with calipers and remove excess material
• heat and powder-coat cores
• inspect coatings and repair imperfections
• apply grease or silicone to cases and assemble cores
• seal cases when required
• use a bench press to affix lids
• place spacers and apply joint compound as specified
• wire gap cores and solder ends
• inspect work in progress
• label secondary containers and dispose of hazardous waste properly.
