The Assistant Teacher — Temporary role is onsite in Spokane, WA. Compensation is $19.15–$20.12 per hour. Working with the Lead Teacher, the assistant supports children’s learning, development, safety, and daily care. The role helps maintain a structured, nurturing classroom and communicates with families and colleagues to support each child’s progress.

What you'll do

• Assist the Lead Teacher with age-appropriate curriculum and activities
• lead small-group or one-on-one sessions
• set up and clean up classroom activities
• supervise children and support behavior guidance
• observe and document progress
• assist with routines, meals, and care needs
• communicate with parents
• follow health, safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and mandated-reporting procedures.
