New Product Introduction Engineer

Job overview

The New Product Introduction Engineer role is onsite in Elk River, MN, with a stated annual compensation range of $70,000–$85,000. Sportech designs, manufactures, and assembles cab components and systems for powersports, golf and turf, industrial, and agricultural markets. The role coordinates the transition of products from development through initial production, ensuring manufacturing readiness, process compliance, and accurate ERP documentation. It works across engineering, operations, quality, and production teams to manage changes, support prototype builds, and help new products move into production.

What you'll do

• Coordinate development and initial production deliverables
• improve data-flow methods and project tracking
• maintain understanding of production capabilities and capacity
• support manufacturing tasks from design through Safe Launch
• ensure compliance with product development processes
• coordinate cross-functional project meetings
• monitor engineering change requests and communicate implementation requirements
• manage manufacturing deviations and changeover dates
• maintain development jobs and Methods of Manufacture in the ERP system
• coordinate and support prototype builds
• develop and communicate design-for-manufacturing standards
• follow safety policies and procedures.
