What you'll do

• Establishes, cultivates, and protects the dealer relationship and buyer relationship with assigned customers.
• Coordinates customer strategies in support of delivering superior value to customers and growing wallet-share and profitability.
• Uses market knowledge, relationships, and growing experience to seek out opportunities with new and existing customers for Distribution's full range of products.
• Gathers market intelligence and translates it into valuable input to drive decisions around product mix, pricing, inventory levels and demand outlook.
• Uses that input to help drive decision-making.
• Develops and executes marketing and communication plans with customers, including promotions, specials, market pull through activities, and updates to products/pricing/service.

What we're looking for

Education

Minimum HS Diploma/GED

Experience

3 + year experience in building materials distribution sales. Proven success supporting large and complex accounts, including building and maintaining key customer relationships, informing programs and promotions, and negotiating solutions to enhance profitability and customer satisfaction.
