The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) – Per Diem role is onsite at Immaculate Heart of Mary Residence in Tewksbury, MA. Pay is $19.48–$19.49 per hour. The residence focuses on personal, professional, and holistic care for residents, many of whom are independent or semi-independent. Working under the Director of Nursing and licensed nursing staff, the CNA assists residents with daily activities and care, monitors and reports changes in condition, and helps maintain a safe and supportive living environment. The position also supports meals, hygiene, mobility, documentation, and communication with the charge nurse.

What you'll do

• Assist residents with daily activities, personal hygiene, meals, hydration, mobility, transfers, and position changes
• monitor and document vital signs
• report mental, physical, or emotional changes to the charge nurse
• assist with medication reminders and residents' self-administration according to house policy
• perform light housekeeping and bed making
• attend in-services and staff meetings and complete five hours of continuing education annually.
