The Power Make-Ready Design Supervisor role may be fully remote, with the listing location in Tyler, TX; New hires must attend a paid, in-person two-week orientation and training period at Sigma Technologies’ main office in Perrysburg, OH. This working supervisor leads and develops a team while performing technical make-ready design work. The role supports project quality, deadlines, and customer requirements through technical review, workload coordination, coaching, and process improvement.

What you'll do

• Lead and supervise power make-ready designers
• perform technical design and project work
• set priorities and assignments
• monitor progress and deadlines
• review designs for quality, accuracy, completeness, and compliance
• provide guidance on joint-use poles, clearances, pole loading, communication-space rearrangements, replacements, and recommendations
• support project managers and engineers
• improve procedures and documentation
• track team performance and project status
• train, coach, mentor, and review assigned employees.
