What you'll do

• Develop and implement curriculum and classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• use child observation and assessment tools
• model and coach teaching staff
• plan individual and group activities
• communicate with families through discussions, progress reports, communication boards, and conferences
• meet center policies, licensing regulations, and funder requirements
• maintain classroom hygiene, safety, and records
• supervise assistants and volunteers.
