Structural Project Manager — Concrete and Steel

The Structural Project Manager role is onsite in Scottsdale, AZ, with a Monday–Friday schedule. Pay starts at $140,000 per year, depending on experience. SAM Construction Group builds mid-rise multifamily and luxury homes as part of SAM Development Group. The manager connects office management, field activities, and project administration to support safe, well-coordinated construction. The role reviews structural plans, coordinates design and field work, supports procurement and project documentation, and monitors quality and schedule requirements.

What you'll do

• Review concrete and structural steel drawings for project, code, and safety standards
• propose design modifications when needed
• coordinate structural design with construction teams
• conduct field inspections and report work in place
• support preconstruction as owner-builder representative
• participate in procurement and subcontractor selection
• attend OAC meetings and distribute minutes
• track submittals and RFIs
• assist with permits
• manage document control and drawing revision logs
• comply with safety policies and wear required safety equipment.

Why this role

Requires a PE certification, a bachelor's degree in structural engineering or equivalent experience, and at least five years of concrete and structural steel design experience. OSHA 30-hour construction training is required or must be obtainable.
