Food Service Worker I

The Food Service Worker I role is onsite in Miami, FL. Compensation is $15–$16.50 per hour. The position supports food preparation and service for patients, cafeteria patrons, and catering services at Community Health of South Florida.

What you'll do

• Prepare food and beverages
• clean and chop produce and assemble ingredients
• prepare salads and desserts
• support tray-line service and deliver meals to inpatient units
• portion and arrange food on trays
• clean kitchen equipment, service areas, and dishes
• store, label, package, and rotate food
• record dish-machine temperatures
• follow sanitation, safety, hygiene, and exposure-control procedures
• assist with special functions as directed.
