Life Skills Coach

The Life Skills Coach role is community-based in Odessa, Florida, working directly with clients in home and community settings. Pay is $22 per hour. The coach helps clients acquire, retain, and improve skills for independent living and community participation through practical support, advocacy, transportation, and individualized goal work.

What you'll do

• Provide positive support and client advocacy
• assist with informed choices and household routines
• support recreation and community participation
• provide transportation to activities and appointments
• assist with mobility and public transportation
• develop communication and social skills
• identify barriers and changes in functional status
• document progress and billable hours
• maintain confidentiality
• communicate with families, referral sources, and agency personnel.
