Facilities Electrician Technician, 2nd Shift

The Facilities Electrician Technician role is onsite in Fremont, CA, and pays $35–$40 per hour. The position supports East Bay and Peninsula research and development facilities, with a 1 p.m.–9 p.m. shift and one rotating weekend day. The technician maintains, troubleshoots, repairs, and installs electrical systems and equipment to support facility operations. The role also works with construction teams on electrical installations and helps improve preventive maintenance and equipment procedures.

What you'll do

• Maintain, troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical equipment
• support power distribution, transformers, lighting, temporary construction power, and equipment up to 480 VAC
• diagnose industrial equipment
• perform preventive, emergency, and trouble-call maintenance
• run conduit, pull wire, and connect devices
• use schematics and project drawings
• develop equipment SOPs and preventive maintenance programs.
