Senior Data Architect — Databricks & Data Warehousing

The Senior Data Architect role is hybrid, with onsite work twice a week in Arlington, TX; compensation is not specified. The role supports analysis, mapping, design, and migration of data products from Oracle Exadata to the Helix source system and a downstream analytics platform. The architect leads enterprise data architecture and migration work, translating business requirements into scalable technical solutions. The role coordinates business users, source-system teams, developers, and data engineers, while identifying dependencies, gaps, risks, and technical challenges.

What you'll do

• Lead enterprise data architecture analysis, design, and migration
• analyze Exadata data products, structures, and dependencies
• work with business users to identify data usage and reporting requirements
• map business-required data elements to Helix
• develop source-to-target mapping documentation
• guide junior team members
• provide hands-on technical leadership
• guide engineers and developers in target-table design
• lead technical discussions
• identify architecture gaps, dependencies, risks, and challenges
• communicate complex concepts to technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
