What you'll do

• Travel to customer sites for calibration, repair, and technical support when necessary
• read quality manuals and testing specifications
• set up fixtures and calibration equipment
• observe readings to identify defects and calibration needs
• adjust instruments using hand tools and precision equipment
• prepare calibration certificates, data reports, and service paperwork
• interact with other departments to resolve issues
• assist with procedures, new product capabilities, standards, and database maintenance. May disassemble instruments to determine defects.
