What you'll do
- Conduct examinations and review care plans and records
- complete laboratory tests and diagnostic imaging
- take vital signs, collect samples, administer medications and vaccines, and bandage wounds
- prepare supplies and instruments and assist with examinations and operations as directed
- provide nursing care, food, and water
- clean patient areas and observe for clinical signs
- document patient conditions and update records
- communicate patient status to owners as directed
- maintain equipment and inventory
- sterilize instruments and sanitize care areas
- release pets to owners as directed.
