Property Accountant

Job overview

The Property Accountant role is primarily office-based in York, PA, with compensation of $65,000–$75,000 per year. The position supports Kinsley Properties’ commercial real estate portfolio. The accountant maintains accurate financial records and reporting for assigned entities, supporting the financial management of the portfolio. The work spans full-cycle accounting, payables, tenant accounts, and coordination with property operations.

What you'll do

• Generate billing invoices from work orders
• reconcile monthly credit card accounts and bank statements
• perform full-cycle accounting for assigned entities
• process accounts payable invoices and payments
• maintain vendor W-9s and certificates of insurance for 1099 preparation
• prepare journal entries, accruals, amortization, and prepaid expense entries
• analyze tenant ledgers and general ledger accounts
• prepare quarterly financial statements and supporting documentation
• assist with lease administration, collections, and CAM reconciliations
• serve as primary accounting contact for assigned entities
• support special projects.

Why this role
