Shift Leader

Job overview

The Shift Leader role is onsite in Parsippany, NJ, with pay of $17.49–$19.49 per hour. The role reports to the Restaurant General Manager and supports Smashburger’s goal of serving better burgers through service, support, and teamwork. The Shift Leader guides front- and back-of-house employees, supports training and daily operations, and helps maintain food safety and guest-service standards. The role also oversees operational checklists, inventory, cash procedures, and daily labor during assigned shifts.

What you'll do

• Manage front- and back-of-house employee performance
• promote a positive work environment
• train and onboard employees
• complete operational checklists, line checks, opening and closing lists, and safe and deposit logs
• monitor guest experience metrics
• maintain food safety standards
• manage food ordering and inventory
• follow cash policies
• manage daily labor.
