What you'll do

• Maintain breakdown furnaces and aluminum in remelt furnaces, bull ladles, and rotary degassing equipment
• monitor alloy temperatures within control limits
• clean furnaces
• perform processing operations including degassing
• monitor conditions and identify equipment or process concerns
• operate a forklift as required
• follow operating, quality, and safety procedures
• maintain a clean work area
• communicate concerns to supervisors
• complete duties with limited supervision.
