Industrial Maintenance Technician | Part-Time, 2nd Shift

Job overview

The Industrial Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Syracuse, IN, with a starting second-shift rate of $32.40 per hour, including an 8% shift premium. POLYWOOD’s schedule is Monday through Wednesday, 2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.; additional hours and overtime may be available based on business needs. The technician diagnoses and repairs production equipment, performs preventive and predictive maintenance, and helps reduce downtime while supporting safe, reliable second-shift operations. The role also works with maintenance leadership and other departments to improve equipment and processes.

What you'll do

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic equipment
• troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial power systems
• identify root causes of failures
• perform preventive and predictive maintenance
• repair CNC machinery, extruders, motors, and related components
• assist with plumbing and building upkeep as needed
• read schematics and control drawings
• follow lockout/tagout and safety standards
• partner with maintenance leadership and other departments.
