Activities Aide

Job overview

The Activities Aide role is onsite in Manistee, MI, with pay of $17 per hour. The position supports residents through the Activities / Life Enrichment department. The aide helps create meaningful opportunities for recreation, social connection, creativity, and cognitive stimulation, adapting activities to residents’ interests, abilities, and needs and contributing to their quality of life.

What you'll do

• Assist with planning, organizing, and leading daily activities and special events
• encourage participation in group and individual programs
• prepare activity spaces
• escort or assist residents to activities as needed
• maintain a safe, clean, welcoming environment
• document participation and share feedback with the Activities Director
• collaborate with nursing, dietary, and other departments.
