The Extended Day Childcare Manager — Camp Kaleidoscope role is onsite in Newton, MA, with pay of $20 per hour. The position manages before- and after-camp care for JCC Greater Boston’s summer day camp. The role exists to provide a safe, inclusive, and engaging extended-day program for campers entering grades K–8. It contributes to a memorable summer experience by coordinating activities, supporting families and counselors, and supervising campers and staff.

What you'll do

• Partner with camp staff to create an inclusive group dynamic
• plan and facilitate games, activities, and enrichment
• support counselors, campers, and families
• supervise staff
• manage attendance and account for campers
• ensure camper safety and well-being
• support participation in arts, sports, and swimming
• attend assigned meetings and trainings.

Why this role

The seasonal camp program runs for eight weeks, June 21–August 20, including staff training; the schedule is Monday–Friday, 7:30–9:30 AM and/or 3:00–6:30 PM.
