Medical Assistant II

What you'll do

• Greet patients and respond to requests
• assist with appointments and patient information
• maintain confidentiality and relay messages to providers
• room and interview patients, record vital signs, and enter information in the electronic health record
• perform point-of-care tests and obtain and process specimens
• maintain patient charts and prepare records for visits
• assist with referrals, authorizations, prescription refills, and other administrative tasks
• follow universal precautions and safety procedures
• organize and restock exam rooms
• participate in training and staff meetings.
