Data Center Operator is an onsite, full-time role in Phoenix, AZ. The listed pay is $25–$35 per hour. The position supports Salute’s data center infrastructure services and the operational reliability of client facilities. The operator maintains and monitors critical electrical, mechanical, monitoring, and control systems to support customer uptime and regulatory compliance. The role performs preventive maintenance, responds to abnormal conditions, coordinates commissioning and contractors, and helps keep mission-critical facility systems operating reliably.

What you'll do

• Operate, monitor, maintain, and respond to abnormal conditions in facility systems
• complete preventive maintenance and corrective work
• inspect HVAC and electrical distribution systems
• respond to indoor emergencies and air-quality complaints
• create, track, and close work requests
• monitor contractor performance
• provide electrical, mechanical, controls, and water-chemistry expertise
• coordinate commissioning and testing while critical systems remain online
• track maintenance schedules
• analyze operating conditions and recommend efficiency improvements
• manage facility loading and capacity
• manage contractors and consultants
• supervise Multi-Skilled Operators
• respond on call to data center emergencies.
