Maintenance Technician

Job overview

The Maintenance Technician role is onsite in Saint Paul, MN, with compensation of $28–$30 per hour. Real Estate Equities manages residential communities, and this position supports property upkeep and resident service. The technician completes service requests, preventive maintenance, apartment turnovers, and repairs to help maintain the community’s appearance and safe operation. The role also participates in a scheduled after-hours emergency on-call rotation and may travel to on-call properties or pick up supplies.

What you'll do

• Complete service requests and follow-up calls
• maintain preventive maintenance schedules and the physical appearance of the community. Perform apartment turnovers, repair or replace appliances, monitor HVAC equipment, maintain inventory and maintenance records, and keep work areas organized. Work with contractors on snow removal and lawn care, and participate in the scheduled after-hours emergency on-call rotation. Requires three years of previous maintenance experience, basic repair knowledge, a valid driver’s license, insurance, and reliable transportation
