Security & Vulnerability Analyst

Job overview

The Security & Vulnerability Analyst role is an onsite, Monday–Friday position in Austin, TX. Compensation is $45–$55 per hour. The analyst works directly with the agency’s Senior Engineers on a security and infrastructure project. The role focuses on finding security risks before they become incidents. It examines front-end architecture, maps and detects endpoints, assesses vulnerabilities across integrated systems—including SharePoint integrations—and documents actionable recommendations for the engineering team.

What you'll do

• Analyze front-end systems and architecture for weaknesses and exposed endpoints
• detect and map endpoints across agency systems
• conduct vulnerability studies and example-based risk assessments
• evaluate risks associated with SharePoint integrations
• document findings and provide actionable recommendations to Senior Engineers.
