Geographic Information Systems (GIS) Project Manager is an onsite, full-time role in Los Angeles, CA, with compensation of $185,000–$225,000 per year. The project manager designs and maintains dashboards tracking rebuild projects and program items, and supports mapping and data requests. The role turns project and spatial data into useful reporting and analysis for management and public audiences, supporting public works rebuild programs.

What you'll do

• Design and maintain dashboards tracking rebuild projects and program items
• support mapping and data requests
• integrate project-management, permitting, schedule, and cost data into reporting
• maintain spatial databases, data standards, quality checks, and update procedures
• respond to ad hoc data and mapping requests
• produce maps, exhibits, and reports for executive briefings and community meetings
• protect sensitive property and resident data
• communicate technical information to nontechnical audiences.

Why this role

Requires at least five years of GIS analysis, spatial data management, and dashboard or visualization experience, plus 10 years of project management experience for Level II or 15 years for Level III. GIS Professional certification and disaster-recovery experience are preferred.
