What you'll do

• Answer customer questions about products, prices, availability, and uses
• schedule work-order meetings for construction jobs and confirm signed contracts or purchase orders
• liaise between sales and accounting on invoicing issues
• prepare equipment quotations and proposals with availability, pricing, and order status
• present product offerings
• obtain freight quotes from carriers and quotes from vendors or contractors
• produce quotes for sales representatives
• calculate discount percentages
• conduct plant tours during customer visits
• provide information for order fulfillment
• follow company and customer safety policies
• participate in customer entertainment events as appropriate.
