The Principal Product Yield Analysis Engineer is an onsite role based in Boise, ID. Compensation is not specified. This role exists to resolve complex issues impacting test yield and product reliability during product introduction. It contributes to the company's goals by ensuring yield and quality standards are met to enable rapid production ramp-up and accelerated time-to-market.

What you'll do

• Perform electrical and physical failure analysis and optical fault isolation techniques.
• Leverage Electronic Design Automation tools for circuit understanding and failure signature analysis.
• Dissect fab and probe data to monitor yields and correlate probe data with reliability data.
• Lead weekly teleconferences with remote and US sites to present findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Mentor remote FA teams on advanced methods and provide 1st silicon support.

What we're looking for

Education

BS, MS, or PhD in Electrical, Electronics, Photonics, Materials Science & Engineering, Applied Physics, Computer Engineering, or equivalent.

Experience

5+ years of relevant experience in the semiconductor field following completion of degree.
