What you'll do
- Perform direct patient care within the scope of the Nurse Practice Act, with emphasis on the pediatric acute and critically ill patient.
- Organize, implement, modify, evaluate, document and maintain the plan of care.
- This plan will be individualized, family centered, and holistic.
- Participate in MCCH initiatives and process improvement.
- Maintain high-quality age specific care for the neonatal, pediatric, adolescent and young adult population.
- Support the mission, vision and values of the organization.
What we're looking for
- Education
- Graduate of an accredited School of Professional Nursing; If hired after 6/1/12, BSN required within 24 months of hire into RN position.
- Experience
- 3-6 years RN experience in pediatrics; Must be able to work in 4 of the following areas, 2 of which must be critical care: NICU, PICU, CHSU, Peds ED, 6D, 6N, Stem Cell Transplant (pediatric patients); Minimum of 3 years Hospital Experience in Pediatrics
