Junior Preschool Assistant Teacher

The Junior Preschool Assistant Teacher works onsite in Eden Prairie, MN, on a Monday–Friday schedule from 12:15 to 5:45 p.m. Pay starts at $18 per hour, based on education and experience. The role supports Grace Beginnings Academy’s Christ-centered early learning program. Working with the classroom teacher, the assistant supports children’s physical, social-emotional, cognitive, and spiritual growth through classroom routines, play-based activities, and learning materials. The role helps maintain a safe, orderly learning environment and supports communication with families.

What you'll do

• Support classroom educational experiences and daily routines as directed by the classroom teacher
• assist with activity documentation and incident or behavior reports
• help maintain a safe, clean, organized classroom
• prepare learning materials
• support children with patience and respect
• foster positive relationships with parents at drop-off and pick-up
• facilitate routines and activities when the classroom teacher is absent
• attend required training and staff meetings
• maintain licensing compliance.
