Veterinary Assistant

What you'll do

• Assist with surgery, dentistry, laboratory procedures, venipuncture, and animal restraint
• maintain sterile and safe practices
• support hospital operations and accurate medical charting
• educate clients about Wellness Plans and pet care
• answer calls, schedule appointments, and assist with patient intake and discharge
• obtain medical histories
• track and restock supplies
• complete assigned duties
• provide professional client service and follow OSHA policies.
