What you'll do

  • Develop and maintain nursing schedules based on staffing needs, census, and budgeted hours
  • coordinate call-outs, schedule changes, time-off requests, vacancies, and daily coverage
  • work with nursing leadership to resolve staffing issues
  • review timekeeping and assist with payroll preparation
  • maintain attendance and staffing records
  • track vacancies and process related forms
  • coordinate onboarding and schedules for new nursing staff
  • track nursing licenses, certifications, orientation, and training.
