The Direct Support Professional – Hillcrest position is onsite in Rutland, Massachusetts, with a stated pay range of $21.12 to $24.58 per hour, depending on education and experience. Devereux’s Hillcrest program serves males ages 12–21 with autism spectrum disorder, intellectual and developmental disabilities, and co-occurring psychiatric disorders. The role provides direct supervision and therapeutic support to youth, helping maintain safety and encourage positive behaviors and daily living skills. Staff work with an interactive team that includes nursing, education, therapists, and psychiatrists and contribute to youth treatment plans.

What you'll do

• Provide direct supervision to youth
• support therapeutic interventions in a compassionate and safe environment
• teach and prompt appropriate behaviors and provide positive reinforcement
• assist with activities of daily living
• complete progress notes and incident reports
• attend a two-week paid orientation in Rutland
• obtain MAPS certification within six months if not already certified.
