The Lead Teacher – 2-Year-Old Classroom role is onsite in Byron Center, MI, at $17–$20 per hour. The Learning Experience provides early childhood education and care for young children. The teacher leads classroom routines and learning experiences that support toddlers’ communication, independence, social-emotional development, and school readiness. The role also builds relationships with families and guides Assistant Teachers while following curriculum and licensing requirements.

What you'll do

• Lead daily classroom routines and learning experiences
• implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum
• create hands-on activities
• encourage independence and self-help skills
• support language and social-emotional development
• assist with toileting, diapering, meals, and rest time
• observe and document progress
• collaborate with Assistant Teachers and families
• follow Michigan licensing and center requirements.
