The role exists to strengthen accounting operations, financial reporting, and internal controls as Formic grows. By leading audit readiness, technical accounting, close processes, and process improvements, the senior manager supports reliable financial information and scalable finance operations.

What you'll do

• Support the company’s first financial audit
• own components of month-, quarter-, and year-end close
• prepare technical accounting transactions involving revenue recognition, leases, and equity compensation
• prepare financial statements and review supporting schedules and reconciliations
• design and maintain internal controls
• improve audit readiness and documentation
• establish accounting workflows and standards
• collaborate with Finance
• shorten the close timeline
• partner on ERP improvements and accounting automation
• maintain scalable accounting procedures.
