The EMAPS Area Work Supervisor is an onsite role based in Golden, CO, with a salary range of $76,600 to $126,400 per year. This position supports the Material, Chemical, and Computational Sciences directorate at the National Laboratory of the Rockies (NLR). The role exists to facilitate project start-up and safe research activities in the new Energy Materials and Processing at Scale (EMAPS) facility. The supervisor will coordinate research and operational activities to accelerate the scale-up of laboratory-scale innovations into market-relevant prototypes.

What you'll do

• Maintain awareness of all laboratory activities in assigned spaces.
• Coordinate operational support, planning, and communication.
• Support the development and execution of emergency response procedures.
• Assist researchers with planning and implementation of activities, ensuring compliance with safety and work authorization protocols.
