The Medical Laboratory Technician (MLT), Night Shift role is onsite in Anderson, SC. Starting base pay is $22.25 per hour, with a $2.25-per-hour weekday differential and a $5-per-hour weekend differential. The role supports a hospital laboratory at an independent nonprofit healthcare system serving Upstate South Carolina and northeast Georgia. The technician performs clinical testing on patient specimens and documents results to support diagnosis and treatment. The work also contributes to laboratory quality, safe operations, and reliable service for the hospital’s patients and care teams.

What you'll do

• Perform laboratory testing according to established procedures
• operate and maintain laboratory instruments
• follow quality control procedures and participate in quality improvement
• document and report results in laboratory information systems
• assist with evaluating and implementing tests and procedures
• help train new employees and students as assigned
• complete cross-training and continuing education
• follow safety and regulatory requirements
• manage laboratory supplies and equipment appropriately.
