Floor Care Technician

Job overview

The Floor Care Technician role is onsite in Longmeadow, MA. Compensation is $16 to $18 per hour. The technician supports the JGS Leavitt Family Jewish Home, a long-term care facility focused on resident care. The role maintains clean, safe, and comfortable floors and high-traffic areas while coordinating work around residents, staff, meals, and activities. Proper equipment care and infection-control practices help support the facility environment.

What you'll do

• Sweep, mop, vacuum, buff, strip, and wax floors
• clean and disinfect floors and high-traffic areas according to infection-control and safety standards
• operate and maintain floor-care equipment
• report equipment malfunctions and safety hazards
• coordinate cleaning around residents, staff, meals, and activities.
