What you'll do

• Prepare for patient visits by ensuring relevant labs, diagnostics, and discharge summaries are available
• take vital signs and perform listed tests, immunizations, skin tests, blood draws, and specimen collection as appropriate
• document encounters and screenings
• operate medical equipment
• provide vaccines and medications after verification and according to medication-administration requirements
• prepare and restock exam rooms and sterilize instruments
• assist providers during examinations and procedures
• support patient discharge and education
• arrange admissions or ER visits as required
• make referrals
• refer triage cases to an RN or medical provider
• track follow-up needs
• assist with interpretation needs
• rotate to other clinic sites or departments as operationally required.
