The Pharmacist in Charge – Retail Pharmacy role is onsite in Rangely, CO, with a Monday–Friday schedule from 9:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. Compensation is not specified. The pharmacist supports retail pharmacy services in a rural hospital setting at Rangely District Hospital. The pharmacist oversees safe, compliant pharmacy operations, including prescription dispensing, regulatory oversight, staff coordination, clinical support, inventory, immunizations, reimbursement, and medication safety. This leadership helps ensure patients and care teams receive reliable pharmacy services under applicable regulations.

What you'll do

• Oversee pharmacy operations under Colorado and federal regulations
• fill and verify prescriptions and submit third-party claims
• consult with physicians, nurses, patients, and staff on medication questions and therapies
• manage medication storage, distribution, inventory, and expiration dates
• document medication errors and support quality and safety
• maintain drug accountability and financial records
• administer immunizations and maintain required records
• support pharmacy credentialing and payer participation.
