What you'll do

• Perform clinical tasks under provider supervision, including sterile procedures, wound care, and suture or staple removal
• administer medications and vaccinations and document responses
• perform phlebotomy and EKG testing, and arterial blood gas collection if trained or licensed
• collect and prepare specimens
• conduct patient assessments and reconcile medications, allergies, and medical history
• educate patients and families
• coordinate refills, prior authorizations, referrals, testing, and follow-up
• maintain equipment readiness and document care in the EHR.
