It contributes to program objectives by building reliable distributed systems, microservices, and real-time data pipelines in collaboration with scientific and technical users.

What you'll do

• Design, implement, and maintain software
• deliver complex features independently and with development teams
• translate technical and scientific users’ analysis needs into software solutions
• support reliable, scalable messaging systems and data pipelines
• develop, deploy, and test containerized microservices and real-time or near-real-time processing workflows
• identify technical risks
• guide Agile activities, code reviews, design discussions, and sprint planning
• promote testing, documentation, and maintainability
• mentor engineers
• and contribute to technical communication.
