What you'll do
- Evaluate and treat patients with acute and chronic complaints and health maintenance needs under standardized procedures and physician supervision. Obtain histories and perform physical examinations
- order and evaluate diagnostic studies
- administer, order, furnish, and prescribe medications as authorized
- order and collect specimens
- coordinate therapies and services
- facilitate admissions and discharges
- provide patient teaching and counseling
- support care coordination, quality improvement, and compliance.
